It’s a true faerie tale story for Team Virtupets, and captain Keetra Deile. Coming from dead last in the second cup, Virtupets have climbed the ladder to take first place in the sixth annual Altador Cup, defeating runners up, Krawk Island. Virtupets fans are ecstatic for the long fought for, and well earned cup victory now under their belts, and look forward to a huge celebratory off-season. This is especially important for Keetra Deile herself too. She is the youngest, and first female captain to bring home the cup to their homeland. The battle for third was decided with orginal cup favourites, Kreludor taking home the bronze medal over another consistently strong team, Team Maraqua, who still fought valiantly, despite losing all finals matches. Day 5: King Kelpbeard’s Speech After the dust settled on the fourth day of play, Maraqua emerged with a second straight victory. After beating Meridell with a WLWW, Elon managed a DWWW against his hated rival, Krawk Island. Quite the nice turn around for a team who opened up with loses to Terror Mountain and Kreludor. Known for their slow starts, Maraqua is apparently wasting no time this year making sure it is known they can play yooyuball with the best. Virtupets took on Lilo and the Roo Island crew, who was looking a little unpredictable. To that point, RI had beaten Lost Desert and Mystery Island and lost (greatly) to Haunted Woods. Distractions didn’t phase Sloth’s team. MVP contender XL Striker 3.8 brought home a WWWD. VPETS is looking powerful; they have wins now

Altador.com Now Open – More To Come If you tried to visit our WordPress URL, you probably noticed that it now re-directs to our new site :) Altador.com is now up and running. Over the next few days you will probably notice some more minor changes being made to the site. If you notice any technical difficulties, the best way to inform me is to PM me (Alex) on the forums. Recently in the news TNT announced that the Altador Cup 5 prize shop will be closing on MAY 25th. This most likely means the Altador Cup sign-ups or actual tournament will be starting on the 25th of May. That’s less than one month away!
